I moved my truck after it had set in the garage for a couple of months and much to my surprise there was a drop of redish liquid on the spotless floor. Further investigation revealed a film of oily reside and wetness around the PTO cover on the passengers side of my AISIN transmission with one drop hanging form the pan flange.

Anyone know if there is a gasket or is it sealed with RTV?

Ken......I am 99.9% certain it uses a gasket.

Here is one, some are cork:

Finally got to looking into this and the bolts were not lose but definitely not tight. There appears to be a cork gasket. I'd guess they all moved 2 flats. 9/16" for those that want to check them tight. I was surprised they were not metric. Last picture is all cleaned up. I'll keep an eye on it for a while.
