For the second time in 77,000 miles, my door locks have developed a mind of their own - they just go into an intermittent frenzy of unlocking themselves. It doesen't matter if the truck is running or parked. It's very inconvenient to travel around an urban area and not be able to keep my doors locked! Has anybody else had this, and what is the fix going to set me back?

I had a 97 half ton 360 that used to do that. it took me years to track the promlem. Turns out it was a water leak around the windshield/cowl area dripping water on the wire harness on the driver side kick panel just above the e-brake pedal. You might check that and see. Mine was real nasty coroded. I could never find the leak so I siliconed the crud out of that harness after cleaning it real good. -Jason

Does it happen in the same place (ex: your driveway, work, etc?) When we moved into our new house and I would use my remote to unlock my 99, the neighbor's F-150 across the street would chirp its alarm. He traded the truck shortly after that so I never got to check and see if it was acutally unlocking the doors. I'm wondering if something might be bleeding onto your frequency and causing it.
