THREAD CLOSED!Oo.
Talk about making something simple WAY to hard. It was just as 'jlccc' said, the lighter is a "switch" in and of itself. Therefore, just cut both the +/- to the lighter, cap off the loose ends (going into the dash), splice the two cut ends of the from the clutch to the lighter wires, BAM! Instant kill switch (when you push in the lighter).
It works great. Merryman, you don't have to worry about "undoing" the connection when your driving. It would be the same "closed" circuit as stock. It will also alow the cruise 'cutoff' to work (as long as you leave the lighter pushed in like illflem said).
For extra security. Just take the lighter and stick it in your pocket while your in the store.
Now for phase 2 of "High Security Ram". A hood lock, and Merryman, your idea for the starter kill under the hood (a backup for my backup).
Thanks for everyone's help. TDR comes through again, bigtime.
