I have a super nice 93 ext cab. I am the second owner, with the first owner spending over $15,000in chassis upgrades. It has a 5 speed plus a gear vendors, full banks kit, Kellderman air ride suspension, alum. wheels, full guage kit (including temp. guages on trans, o/d, and rear) It is a very nice truck!! The problem is it is now 13 years old, and I know things are starting to go, I have done NOTHING under the hood, so I know items suchas the injector pump have to be getting close to needing work. I also have a family that would like a quad cab, as the 93 ext. cab is really not good for riding. I have a buyer who really wants it, but don'nt know if I should sell, and upgrade, and if so, what is mine worth?

Thanks for the advice,

Adam

Really doubt you will have that many problems with it. My 93 is the newest vehicle I own. . and almost the lowest milleage at 210K miles.

I would say it is only worth a couple of grand PM me your address and I will get a check in the mail to ya. :-laf

With fuel prices I would keep the truck and get a small car or minivan to hual the fam around in.

You might try to get a hold of tdr member Wayno he has/had a flawless 92 d350 custom dealer truck for sale in tdr, i don't know if he sold it but i've seen it up close and personal and it's far and away the cleanest most detailed 1st gen i've ever seen, think he was asking 15k, if it's sold he might divulge what he got which will give you a decent indication of what the market will bear for a high end 1st gen.

I recently saw a really nice (probably all original and low mileage) 92/93 D350 2wd on a dealer lot in South Seattle. Sticker said 11444. 00 My thoughts were there was no way in he11 it would go for that. I'm sure it sold for less but I don't know the numbers.

They're sure worth more than what the books say about them.

That's the truth. I paid $10k for mine about three years ago with 47k on the clock. I was looking at total garbage in the $9k range, well over book value for one in excellent condition, even at the time. I have a friend who wants to buy it right now for $8500 - if I didn't need an extended cab I wouldn't be considering it, but... . :(

With all the extra stuff your truck has it's hard to give a price, but if the truck is as nice as it sounds I'd think it would easily bring $12k plus, depending on mileage. FWIW, I've seen 2nd Gen trucks advertised around here with 180-250k miles... for $8-10k.

My '93 W250 Club Cab 4x4, auto, pwr etc, sold for $10. 5k IIRC, here in Pierce County (south of Seattle). Took patience to find a buyer however.

not to add insult to any of these prices but I got the 93 in my signature for 1100 and some change. Its not the prettiest in the world (it would help if I'd wash it) but everything works and it had new tires. I drive it every day... Replaced my crx that got stolen.

So where did you see my truck at ???????? No I havent sold it yet but I got someone looking at it. It should of came out in the truck trader mag. Saturday ,I need to check . I know some day I will kick my self in the @$$ for selling it but I dont drive it anymore since I got back on a motorcycle. I what to get a 91-1/2 to a 93 reg cab 3/4 ton and for me to find the right truck as clean as mine and to do all that I have done to mine it will cost me $15,000. 00

Wayno, you remember a guy driving a black 93' D350 in Alvin about a year ago? i tracked you down at the stop and go on 1764 I think, you were polite enough to give me the tour. Jim

Black club cab 1 ton . Wasnt you needing a tail gate ????? . That was at the Rush End store on 1764 ,I was getting diesel. Do you still have that truck . I was on the bike I wanna say at the end of last summer and I saw a Black 1 ton C/C on the north bound lanes pulling a boat that look like that truck but it had silver stripes kindda like mine on the bottom of the body . It was on the shoulder, was that you . I have never saw it again . Wanted two turn around and go back but I was with a group of bikes. Didnt we talk trains , about the local one that just pulls up and down the line and never pulls to far away ???
