If you're in the market and can't find anything you might keep an eye on ebay, there are several cummins over there now. Just another option.

Well,I'm back from my trip and imediately went to the lots that had 2wd reg cabs for sale. The '95 5spd that I mentioned above is now sold as was a '94 auto(in Oregon). I didn't think these 2wd's would sell so fast especially since we got some snow lately.
I'm now down to two local choices... a black/driftwood '95 auto, and a white/driftwood '95 auto... both good clean trucks. Has anyone else seen any 2wd 2500 reg cabs in the NW?

WOW,
Talk about regional supply/demand driven prices!!
I bought my '94 3500 4X4, Auto, SLT Larime with 117,000 miles on it for $16,000. THREE AND A HALF YEARS AGO!!!!
In this part of the country diesels (especially with miles on them) go for CHEAP!!
Check classifieds (online) in the Appleton Post Cresent, Milwaukee Journal (aka Milwaukee urnal) Green Bay Press Gazete and the Wisconsin State Journal (Madison). It may take a while but they are out there.
