As first reported in New Mexico. 5 people shot to death, 2 adults 3 children Assault Weapon found at scene. This morning ( 1-22-13) on the news the boy used a 22 to kill his mom dad and sibs. Because he was mad at his mom. First, What's wrong with the kids today. Second, The News always has to SENSATIONALIZE ESPECIALLY when it come to Assault Style Weapons now?

The "buzz words" are being exploited to the maximum right now. A report on the Denver news, this AM, about a large pet animal being killed with a "high powered rifle"!
I understand the loss and can emphasize with the owners. However, the shooter was described by channel 7 as a "SNIPER"! In big bold letters in the headline subtitle.
Where will they go with that description? You can bet it will be milked for all the political capital available.
It has also come to my attention that every crime committed with a firearm is now getting more coverage. Merely exploiting the opportunity to manufacture a culture of fear and victimization and further the liberal agenda.

A couple of weeks ago, a local State Trooper had to shoot and kill a mentally disturbed man in a local grocery store that stabbed him repeatedly with scissors. When the media first reported it, they made it out like the trooper had a small scratch on his head and he therefore shot the young man. They "forgot" to mention that the young man had stabbed the Trooper in the chest several times (stopped by his vest thankfully) before stabbing him in the head and that the Trooper had already deployed his Taser and it didn't work.

the term "high powered rifle" is a reporter's was of saying, greater than or equal to a BB gun. the most over-exaggerated phrase ive heard was during a report where a land lord tried to evict a bad tenant. the reporter said, "A woman is in the hospital tonight after she was shot 17 times with an AK-47... ... (and yes there actually was a pause)..... type airsoft gun"

I fervently hope so but can we be sure? Many wannabe dictators in (former) democracies started out by being elected by lying, conniving, deceiving voters, manipulating election results, and vote fraud. They moved on to trashing their country's constitution with the help of corrupt legislative bodies or simply declared martial law and made themself dictator for life.

Does anyone doubt that the kenyan would like to do just that or that the corrupt communist led senate would assist him?
