hey everyone, on my '92 the wiring harness comes from the CPS on the front of the motor then to a plug on the injection pump i believe then runs back and a plug plugs into a sensor that i believe is in the head it could be in the block but i don't think it is it is about in the middle from front to back and it hangs down with a plug coming off of it, that is the next plug in the line i believe, can anyone tell me what this is?

The wiring harness from the front doesnt go to the pump or head- it goes to the PCM.

The other wiring you are talking about, I believe, is the wiring from the shutoff solenoid to the thermo- switch (behind the grid heaters on top of the intake), and back to the KSB. This way, the thermo switch gets power when the engine is on, and powers the KSB when the temp is a certain range.

I could be way off on this but from the way you describe it, it sounds to me like it could be the oil pressure sending unit you're talking about. It's in the block just below the head and slightly behind the injection pump.

i'll get a picture of it in a little bit, i do not think it is the oil pressure sender because my pressure gauge works fine and this is not even plugged in
