Greetings.
I am trying to shoehorn a 6BT/NV5600 into a swap vehicle. My hoisting capacity is exceeded by the combo. I figure I need to separate the gearbox from the motor to get it in. But, I'm looking at the pair and I see that there doesn't seem to be any exterior bolts at the bellhousing to transmission connection, except 6 along the bottom curve from about 4:00 to 8:00. Am I correct that I need to split them apart at the front of the bell (where it mates up the the 2. 5" thick translator plate? Is there anything to watch out for? Thanks in advance.
