FYI - I worked all last night and got the 2nd server back up and running. We've also purchased 2 additional servers and a load balancer that will be put online later this month VASTLY increasing our capacity as well as fault tolerance for later this winter when our traffic levels peak. Please let me know if you run into any bugs as there's almost always something that comes up.

Again, Steve, thanks for your hard work on the system. I'm sure you'll be the first to hear if there are bugs!

On any particular thread? Were they ones with pictures in them? That can slow things down significantly. I noticed that in a couple of threads tonight myself - and then they came up with the "image not found" deal so that server was down - there's a 5 second time out for each picture like that.

The first (and longest) instance was loading the TDR main page - the second and third was a routine switch to a new page of threads in the "get last days posts" list. I finally exited the site on the first instance, and then re-intered the site - the lead page then loaded normally.

Things seem fine so far this morning.

Latest thing as of this morning, trying to make a post takes FOREVER for it to hit the server and the screen to refresh displaying the new post in the thread - just a FYI...

I don't show anything out of the ordinary Gary. I've been posting quite a bit and haven't had any problems with slow responses at all and noone else has reported anything thus far. The server load hasn't gone over . 5 (2. 0 being 100%) in the last 2 days. In the last 2 1/2 days there have been 114,550,552 mysql queries and only 73 have taken more than 10 seconds. I'll keep my ears and eyes open for problems from other users but thus far I don't see anything except for what your reporting. Have you tried doing a tracert to the server to see if it's a problem on the backbone?

Not that big, or repeatable a problem Steve - if I'm the only one seeing it (and only twice or so at that!), it's probably just something in my own specific path.
