The server CPU has been upgraded and an additional 512 megabytes of RAM added.

System performance is MUCH better and will get even better over the next few days as we tweak the database to take advantage of the additional RAM.

Search turned back on yet?

Also, there is still a problem with the indexes right? I mean with posts not coming to the top, and not displaying "properly" even tho is says "Last Post by User" and its not at the top?

Just trying to get some info out in the open... ... ...

Just edited my profile. I really like this new software-except the last name thing.

Anyway, I'm not sure the Server Time off-set is set up right. I had to use the wrong off-set to get mine to display the right time of day. Currently, I have it set for GMT -3. 00 hours. Actually, where I live is GMT -7. 00 hours.

I think GMT -3. 00 hours would be over the Atlantic.

However, if I use EDT (Server location??) -3. 00 hours, then it all makes sense.

Not trying to be nit picky, just observant.

The site looks great.

Great Job Guys:) Except for this last name thing:confused:

Also when will the threads change color to show you wich ones you've been to--like the old site--this is really messing with me:confused:

Well with this software it doesn't do it that way. However, here is something to "try" that you may like better. I have not tried this myself because I like this system better. Goto "User CP" then goto "Options" scroll down to the bottom, and find "Browse Style" change it from default to UBB 5 and it should "act" more like the old software did.

As you work out the "bugs" and I figure how to tune it for me I have to say

"Great Job on Bombing the site"

Is there an open chat room or instant messaging or only the PM?

Thx

I also agree with the rest on last name should be optional!

chat's working?

Admin,

I've been in contact with other members who like me are still unable to get into the chat area. We assumed the chat room was still down. When I go in, the "java" starts and everything but then it just says "document done" and there's only a blank page. Do I need to do something different?

Who said it's fixed?

The server is too busy at the moment. Please try again later. "

The new and improved site may have all the bells and whistles, but what good is it if you can't get on

Third time in two days. If this is technology at it's best, you can keep it:eek:

I got to the chat room but didn't know how to get on the board(conversation's).

Getting into the forums and threads have been alot better.

I haven't run into "server is busy" for a while. It got me rattled when I send off a reply/post, the post/reply would make it but I would be left in no-man's land with no where to go but close down the site and come back on.

Thanks again for job well done.
