Service 4WD

Truck is a 2018 3500 dually that just turned 22K. Had a message show up on the dash display that said
"Service 4WD" Hard to believe but the wife has lost the owners manual manual but an explanation may not be in the manual anyway. Message showed up twice for a couple of minutes, went away but it has only been driven a few miles since the message went away the last time. I have already changed the fluid in both axles.
Can someone explain what is going on?

i had to have a computer changed in my 18. look to see if you have any codes first.

You can download or order a printed manual through RAM.

To that message it says - see Dealer.

There are many possible faults that can lead to that message, but oil doesn't contribute to it. It's mechanical, electrical or electronics that made that light coming on.

Took it to the dealer and they replaced the front axle disconnect actuator and all is well now, Good advice to take to dealer.
