"Service airbag system" light comes on now after recall work done

Had the truck in 2 weeks ago for 3 recalls. 1 was the airbag system reflash. Only drive the truck on weekends or when towing. Now today the service airbag system light comes on, then goes off, comes back on, then off.

I'm sure the dealer is going to tell me it has nothing to due with the reflash..

Anyone had the same issue?

Since no one has ever had this problem, what is involved with "service the airbag system"?

They might have missed this part of the recall.

15. From the “Vehicle View” screen, click on the “ABS” icon and select “Misc.
Functions”.
16. Perform an “ABS Initialization” routine and follow on screen prompts.
17. Clear any DTC’s that may have been set.

Thanks sag2. I'm going to take it back next week and see it they can fix it. I'll ask them about this.

Before I could make a appointment, I drove it for several days. The RAM goddess must of jumped under the hood and fixed it. The light has no come back on since I posted the original post.....Now that I post this, it will pop up again..LOL

The initialization procedure is just turning the wheel lock to lock while stopped and level so the controller knows the attitude of the vehicle and position of the steering wheel. It probably learned it just from normal driving.
