service contract

I know alot of you guys say that the extended service contract is junk but I bought it so I can go anywhere towing my hot rod and not have to worry about a trans going out, lift pump etc... Well today I get it in the mail and the start date is 10/06/00? Imagine that I bought the truck NEW on jan 4 of 02!! The truck has a build date of july 01! Those *******s are trying to screw me out of a year and a half!!!Oo. And to top it all off I cant even find a dealer that I have enough confidence in to refill a bird bath!!:-{}
