Service Manual.... CD or hard Copy?

Are there any search tools on the CD. It can be pretty tedious hunting through indexes page by pge on the screen.

83 mega-bytes. :--) Wouldn't want to download that with dial-up. Heck, figure I will download that just in case I or anyone else needs the manual. What other years are there.

It'll take a while on dial-up; get it going in the evening and you'll have it by morning.



Adobe Acrobat reader, if you also download and install the search feature also, allows you to search documents. It works pretty well.

Another viewpoint

I like the book option, because I like to keep it in the truck. So far, I haven't needed it, but it could be really handy if there were a problem while on a long trip.

I like the CD's. I picked up an old computer that was being discarded and I use it in the garage. I don't need anything fancy just to view a CD so it works great and it doesn't matter if I grease it up as no one else ever uses it.
