I just ordered a 1993 Factoury Service Manual from Tech Authortiy. My question is, does this manual cover the 150 threw the 350 trucks? The person on the phone also said something about Ram Charger 150 to 350. No where on my truck does it say Charger. it say's Power Ram 250, CTD.

Have I ordered the right manual?

I would say you did. I have a 1990 service manual a friend gave me to use and it says "Rear Wheel Drive Truck D&W 150-350 Ramcharger". If it's like the older one I have it will come with a second book which is a "Diesel Supplement" that covers just the Cummins engine and wiring etc. I would make sure the diesel supplement comes with it.

Deezul Fumes,

My 1993 FSM manual is entitled D&W 150-350 Ramcharger, you have ordered the right one. The engine is covered under section 9 page 107 through 155.

The wiring diagrams are covered in another section.

The factory manual will say D&W 150-350. Then below that it says Ramcharger.

It is the right one from the sound of it. It has both $X$ and 2 wd in it. It also has a diesel rebuild section in it.

Service Manual

Hey guy's thank's for the replies. I should get the manual around Sept, 10/04.

Is there any thing I can order from Cummins that will zero in on our engines? Kernel mentions a diesel supplement that came with his manaul. Maybe Tec Authortiy has some thing.

The 93 has everything in it for the 1st Gen. Cummins, the only thing lacking is a parts breakdown. The cummins web site has engine parts break down by engine S/N in cd format.

The diesel supp. was for the earlier models like the 89 & maybe the 90, but by 90 & up I think the manual was complete. There is a powertrain diagnostic procedures manual, it is on the slim side, as our trucks don't have a massive amount of electronic controls for the motor.

Like Paychk said, the manual for the earlier models came in two books. The main covers all the stuff like power windows, frame, brakes, etc. that was common with all model trucks and also included the gasser info. The supplement is an addition that talked about all things specific to the diesel models (wiring, engine, injection pump). Yours will probably be all contained in one book like mentioned. These books would be perfect if they included breakdowns on the injection pump too.

Ok, then all I have to do is count the day until the FSM arrives.

Took the rig out for a drive today, like always it ran great. I mainly just drive it on weekends. It's only got 202K's on it. ;)

Thanks again, TDR does it again. :-laf
