well i just ordered mine last week. I got mine from DC by phone the number is 1-800-387-1143. However this is the the canadian DC but I'm sure they can tell u the US number. Ive also heard you can buy them on the DC website.



Mine was $96 can. with tax and shipping.

I got my DC, 2 volume manuel at the above listed 1-800 number, which is also in the back of your owners manual. It was about 100 bucks but is worth it. One down side is that it has info on every engine and other conceivable set up for a dodge PU including Dakota, so u have to wade thru alot of info before u find what u are looking for. Plus side is that you have a single set of manuals for everthing on your truck not just the engine.



I also have the Cummins ISB trouble shooting and repair manuel

its about 65 bucks from CUmmins powerstore this is a pretty good manual too.



I also got the customized parts catalog for my truck. You send in the engine serial number for your truck and u get a catalog with each part and variation on your actual truck. Its kinda cool telling the parts guy what part number u need with out them looking it up. U can get that at the Powerstore too.

There are several Cummins manuals that apply to our truck CTD. I have several that discuss the engine, trouble codes, etc. But I think you probably want the DC manual, at least at first. The DC manual covers the whole truck, the Cummins manuals obviously cover just the engines.



Oops - the new spell checker doesn't know how to spell Cummins - it suggests Cummings. That's got to be fixed pronto. It doesn't handle contractions too well either, even its own! Still a very good spell checker.

They cover the dakota in the same manual? I thought the dakota had it's own service manual since they are considered AN body style while the 94-02 1500-3500 are BR and 02 1500 and 03 1500-3500 are DR.
