I have an older Lakewood Hamstick 10 Meter mobile antenna. It is model number 9110. The company is unfortunately out of business. I need a replacement set screw for the top of the fiberglass mast that locks down the stainless steel stinger part of the antenna. Have tried several places including CB shops, but haven't been able to find one. Does anyone know where I can source one of these extremely tiny set screws? I "think" it might be a 3/32" screw. Ideas would be appreciated. This should not be this hard to find...but it unfortunately has been.

n7gxz,

Thank you so much for your time in replying and for the helpful tips. I'll certainly check them out. In this day of the warehouse hardware stores, it's sometimes refreshing to remember the old fashioned hardware stores still exist!

My thanks again!

David

Amateur radio store?
I see youre in Tennessee. Do you have any old fashioned hardware stores?
Places like McMaster/Carr, aircraft spruce etc sell nuts & bolts.

If you are still not having any luck finding one, I have a bunch of the MFJ versions and will mail one to you.

Edit: I might just send a card along with it :)
