SETDR / GLTDR Joint Camping Adventure

There will be a second annual joint camping adventure for the members of the GLTDR and the SETDR. This campout will be held near Pigeon Forge, TN on May 16-19, 2002. If you would like to join us, there are two campgrounds that we plan to utilize; either the Fort Wear Campground or the Twin Creek RV Resort. I believe that the majority of us will be camping at the Fort Wear Campground, but some of the members have made reservations at the Twin Creek Resort, so you won't be alone if you decide to stay there. Fort Wear has cabins available.

I just could not pass up a chance to meet the Famous Doc Tinker,,,,,,,,,,,,,, well, that and the fact that the wife wants to go to Nashville anyways. We have got reservations for the 13th thru the 20th at Fort Wear, and then we will spend the next week in Nashville.

So,,,,,,,, if you want me to tidy up around your site,,,,,,, rake the leaves,,, gather ya some firewood,,, paint the electric box,,,, or stuff like that,,,, just let me know. :-laf :-laf

I was gonna bring the wire-brushes and paint scraper anyway,,,,,,,,,,, so I'll make sure to throw the shop-vac in the truck too, so we can clean out ,,,,,, that,,,,,,,,,uhmm,,,,,,,,,oh yeh,,,,,,,,that close-to-me bag.

We have eight spots reserved at the campground so far. If you're interested in joining us for a long weekend in the hills, comeon out! All comers are welcome.



And remember. . If you don't like tents and don't have a trailer, you can stay in a cabin. Just bring your own bedding.
