Sewer Solution

During our recent trip to Northern MN, land of snow, I got to use the Sewer Solution device to dump the holding tanks on my Lance. This thing sure works slick! As long as you've got access to water supply with at least 15psi available, it's wonderful. No yucky 3" slinky hose to try to clean up. Just a nice smooth walled 1" vinyl hose that gets flushed after all the "bad stuff" is dumped.



Despite the early snow, the Muskies were biting fairly well. My wife got a 48" monster. A real good one. Best of all, we had a great time.

I have been using a Sewer Solution for few a few years and like it.

The only downside is the ears on the thing keep breaking off (I'm on my 4th one) and 2 of the ears are cracked. I wish they would make one in aluminum or something more durable for us fulltimers.

Flojet makes a new pump that hooks up and will pump you dry using the black water and gray water through a plain hose. run off of 12 v.

We also have the Sewer Solution . . I'm not technical so bare with me while I try to explain what DH did. He added a piece to the SS. The SS stays permanently on this piece then the piece gets attached to the dump. That way you don't worry anymore about breaking the SS, cause it's not taken on and off anymore.

What many have done is to put a 45* clear elbow ahead of the Sewer Solution and let it take the abuse of connecting/disconnecting. This is what have done, but it's too early to tell it it's going to be effective but it does provide visual feedback as to when the tanks are empty. I'm sure though that it will make the SS last longer.

i think i got it right now.



will be putting a 45 clean angle. it does have a hose water hose fitting to flush out the tank.

My suppler just got one in to see it. they order me one. have yet to use it. got it so i can empty my tank or a customers if a 3" hose won't reach.

That's it . . so that's what it is called "elbow". Well it works, it's never broken or needed to be replaced. (have been using the SS this way for 2 years)

NICE FISH!! Bet she was one happy lady. Is that the biggest one she has caught? The way you are holding it suggests you may have released it.



I'm going to have to go fishing for those things one of these days. Would love to catch a few of those.

Yep, that's our biggest in the boat in 10 years of Muskie chasin'. On LOTW they have to be 54" to be legal, so yes, the fish is back in the water. I wouldn't keep one anyways. If I want to eat fish, the lake is full of walleyes and little pike.



We're probably going to get a graphite repro made of this fish. There are much bigger ones swimming in LOTW but they're hard to get because there aren't as many of them. Lots of low to mid-40" fish though.
