SF Bay Area service department recommendation

Any Cummins owners out there having a good experience with a Dodge Service Department?



My local dealer doesn't seem to be able to handle diesel trucks very well. I am having a helluva time getting my turbo replaced.

If he doesn't see your post and reply send a PM to TDR member "sag2". He is a knowledgeable Dodge-Cummins dealer technician who posts here occasionally. His signature indicates he works in the SF Bay area.

I use to live in Woodland which is down the road from Sacramento. The Dodge dealer in Woodland has some really good cummins techs there. If you can't find something closer it is worth the drive. My buddy has a 08 and they have handled his dpf and turbo problems well.

Where are you located and what dealer are you currently using?

I am in Alameda. I am using the dealer in Oakland.



Thay actually just got the turbo installed this afternoon.



This service department has gone through half a dozen service writers since the P2262 popped up on Sept 2 of last year. They have all for the most part been helpful, but they aren't familiar with the 6. 7's.



I am hoping to find a dealer that keeps it's employees, so that there can be some continuity.



Once the TSB is complete and the new turbo is installed are the problems ending?
