Diesel fuel killed a gas motor

Doc, all I know is that a shallow well is not a very deep subjuct:p

On my old property on the river I used my back hoe to dig a 18 ft. hole so I could burry a 24" piece of Drisco pipe with holes drilled in the bottom and then backfilled with 3/4" gravel for the first 3 feet and this thing would pump 2" line fore ever !

Cheers, Kevin

My son-in-law, son and I drove the shallow well point last weekend. We hit water at nine feet and drove the well to fifteen feet. I ran the pump, watering the new lawn, all day yesterday without lossing flow or pressure. That was a pretty easy project.

Thanks for all of your advise and suggestions.

Doc

Doc, you might what to get the water tested to make sure it isn't going to kill your lawn. Don't know about the east but out west shallow well water is sometimes full of arsenic or boron.
