Well first off, I trade in my Ford truck, which I thought I was happy with. Then I buy this here Dodge Diesel that some friends say is so darn fun to drive, Then they get me hooked on the TDR site and I become a member... I sit back and read all the wise things I hear... . So to be sure my truck stays in good condition, I like a good listener, put on gages, 4" exhaust, the Mag hy-tech differential and transmission pans, the AFE Megacannon air filter, and say to myself, there it is done and I can now monitor this fine vehicle... Not so, I got bit by this bug called the bombing bug... I just said, OK, I will just try some 275 injectors, and it did put a smile on my face. . I said that is it. Since I have an auto, I can go no higher without damaging the transmission. . So for 2 months I was normal, then that darn bug bit into me harder,. . Right now my little partner is at Bellflower Transmissions getting a full ATS Trany with billet shaft. Then I read your classifieds on this site and see an ad for a new PDR HX-40/16 for sale, I say I am going to need it since I just bought some of Don EDM Mach 2 injectors along with a Edge EZ comp. Of course this gives me an excuse to get a ATS exhaust manifold. All Items will go on as soon as I get the truck back from the shop. Shame on all of you for giving me such great advise. because I did listen... all I need now is some advise on a better fuel system, I already changed out one lift pump and I was thinking of getting the FASS system, Does that sound OK, or should I look at something else?? Also, what HP do you think I will be at? Anything I might of overlooked? I will listen... as you can see. I thank The TDR for all the great people I have met and for all the help I have received. .

I'm afraid, my friend, you have made a big mistake when you took a look at "the dark side. " I feel this advise is just too late to help you... but here goes:



Take a step back from the edge... You must not peer into the BOMB hole... . Seek help from your friends and family... You can conquer this illness, but it will take all your will and strength... Good luck!!!:eek:
 
Comp+Mach2s+HX40 should be around 430hp. It should fly going through that ATS transmission! You should see 13s in the quarter.

Sounds like you and I got involved with the TDR with the same intentions..... I thought everyone was crazy on here for doing all the wild bombs. I thought at best I might go for an EZ and call it good. Man that slope is so slippery :rolleyes: :rolleyes: And to think, only 1 year ago I did my first bomb, a set of RV275's :rolleyes:

GMaines Don't feel to bad, I'm working 12 hour days to help pay for all the stuff I have want and need. The BOMB bug bit me hard.

I am now to the point that I'm seriously thinking about taking out a loan to get all the stuff I want and need, and to pay for it all.

All I can say is these dang people here ain't going to help with our problem there just going to make us worse. :eek:

I should have known that this was going to happen hanging out with a bunch of power hungry junkies.

I think I need help. Is there any help for people like us.

I DON'T have a problem. Really I don't. Does anybody know where I could put a third turbo-maybe thru the hood like a blower on a street rod-yea thats it. :D

I feel for you all... I too cannot stop. What the heck happens? One day stock... ... Next day bombed. I mean do I need more power???? Perhaps not. I want more power!!!!

Well, just drove in from picking up the truck from Bellflower Transmissions. I must say, what great people there..... The truck sure runs great, it is amazing what a stage 5 ATS transmission will do to pick up one's spirit... ... now I can put on the rest of the goodies... with all that I am putting on, what fuel enancement should I do? a Fass system? thanks

Sure glad I don't have the same problems:) The good thing is I think the first gens will peak out at aq lower $ amount.

One of my good friends bought a 2000 QC about the same time I had bought a Toyota Tacoma. I thought my truck had decent power until I rode in his Dodge. So then I wanted one. A couple years later I order my silver QC sport HO SB. By the time I bought my truck he had his bombed. Again, I thought I was hot **** because I had the new truck..... until I rode in the the bombed Dodge. I got back in mine and told myself I gotta do that too. So here I am looking at how I can spend thousands to go fast in a diesel. It's addicting, there's always something you can do. And unfortunatly my friend is now driving a Duramax and thinks it's better because it has 2 more cylinders. I'll prove him wrong soon enough... ... ... :D
