Thanks, TDR Staff

St Louis chapter, need help to get off the ground

Connecticut TDR stuff to get rid of

I was reading about this event in the most recent issue of TDR Magazine. It sounds like it would be fun/informative. Have you guys gone before? How many trucks were there the last time? Do you have to get tickets or do you have to pay a fee to get in? Are you allowed to pitch a tent and camp there for two days? Thanks for the information.

I went last year, and had one heck of a good time. The admission fee got ya' a tee shirt and free entry to the show and shine , not to mention seats for the truck pull. It's deffinetly on my list for this year, Hope to see ya' there.

I went to the "Scheid Diesel Rally"
last year also. As Brent already said
"I had a real good time too!" Dan
Scheid and his entire staff are great
people and they put on a good rally.
You can obtain a registration form
in the TDR. As I recall I think they
had over 150 trucks there last year.
I know that a little over 40 of them
were on the dyno.

I plan on attending this year too.
Hope to see you there.

Well guys, I didn't see a form in the TDR. Is anyone allowed to go even if they aren't a member of the TDR. Is this just for Dodges or all makes? What is the price? Where is the best place to stay overnight? I'm really excited about going to this rally even though it's 3 months away. Thanks for the info. See ya!

They really have been good to me!

Any brand truck can go to this rally and
I don't believe you need to be a TDR
Member to attend. You can call the
Terre Haute shop toll free @ 1-800-
669-1593 and speak with Dan Scheid
or "J. P. " and they will send you an
entry form.

Actually there was over 200 trucks registered but closer to 300 actually showed up. The Scheid folks took and aerial shot of all the trucks parked out front to try and count them but not all the trucks from the pull or dyno were in the picture. Like everyone said last year was a blast. Every year they keep putting on a better show so this year should be the same.

Back home again in Indiana, ya better believe I'm gonna be there! I hit the jackpot in more ways than one last year, but more importantly, I had a great time with all my friends!

All makes are allowed last year anyway. I had a good time too. There is no entry fee at the gate if you just want to look around. Last year the Shrine Hospital took donations for the Pulls. Other than that it is a feebie. . That is what it was last year. Look forward to taking the ol' 1st genner back again. B. J. Deal 3d

Well, this event sounds pretty fun. I was wanting more information about teh events, how long it lasts, if camping was allowed and camp fires, information form. I sent an e-mail to Scheid Diesel and haven't heard from them yet. Thanks for the information!

Well, I believe it is on August 24 and 25 in Terre Haute Indiana. I live in Southeastern Ohio and I think it'll take me about 5 hours. Sounds pretty informative. I have never been to a diesel rally before and this one is pretty close to me.

You can camp at the local KOA, or I think you were able to camp on the fairgrounds last year. I know the Scheid folks pretty good and talk to them frequently, they don't have the registration forms ready yet but they're working on them.

Look at their website http://www.scheiddiesel.com for details about this years Extravaganza.

I don't remember for sure but their may be a list of places to stay or camp in Terre Haure on their site. (don't hold me to that though I should have checked before writing this)

See you all there. :)

I just saw where the registration form is available online now http://www.scheiddiesel.com/tdr/regist.htm.

I went to a 10 Pro Tractor pull a little ways south of Terre Haute on the 4th and it was one heck of a show. I imagine a lot of those guys will be in Terre Haute too. That is one competitive class. Looking forward to seeing the pulls Friday night.
