Shelf life of ULSD?

Did some searching, and nothing really concrete... looks like maybe a year? This would be regular ULSD from the local truck stop...



The reason I ask is that I have an opportunity to buy a 100 gallon tank for the truck... a steel "L"-shaped version... used. I doubt that I'd use that volume in a couple months, unless I'm traveling.



Is there any reason I should avoid storing it that long? Anything I should add to it?? I have a good supply of PS in the white bottle.

As long as it is not soaking up moisture I would not worry about a few months. I see you have a FASS so that should filter the water out for you anyway.

I will also have two other filter on this tank as well... one just for water, the other for particulates and water... then it gets transfered to the main tank and through the FASS...

just keep it sealed up, fuel never goes bad, it just gets contaminated or the high ends evaporate out
