Was in the local wally world yesterday. Remembered I needed some fuel conditioner. Went back and found that in addition to what they usually carry, there were gallon jugs of Shell Rotella Diesel fuel conditioner. Was a little surprised, I have never seen this before. It was a little more exensive that the regular but I went ahead and got a gallon. Has anyone used this before? Any comments?

I'm almost through with my first bottle of Rotella DFA. I used Howe's before that. I saw no difference between the two other than the price. It seemed that Howe's was a little thicker, but as far as mileage or performance... nothing. I think I'm going back to Howe's next bottle. I like the free tow guarntee they offer.

What a coinkidink!

I was in a parts house yesterday looking up a BHAF (don't ever try to find one of those in this town) and there were some drivers in there talking about the Shell fuel treatment they were using. I guess this parts place is having a blowout on the stuff to get people to use it. All the reports have come back positive. I might give it a try, but I still have 80 some gallons of fuel to burn before I need to fill up again. Then I might consider it. Like I said, it seems to have good reports from the guys I talked to yesterday.
