... and it's not covered under warranty, either. DC's listed price is $630. I'm told that I need one, but I didn't want to spend that much money. The dealer dropped it to $515. I called Standard Transmission and they had a used one for $180. I'm going in that direction for now, with the hope that they aren't going to sell something that is marginal in condition. If this is why I had some difficulty with shifting I could have lived with the original piece.

I think that 5 sp is a little light duty for our engines, that's why I swapped out for a 6 sp.

Standard Transmission

I know the owner of Standard Transmission and I've used them for years. They are about 40 miles from my house and I've been in their shop many times. They will not sell you worn out junk. Rest easy man.
