I'm gonna have Goerend TC installed and looking for a shift kit to go with it.( something to raise line pressure) any suggestions? This is for 2001 Dodge Ram diesel with moderate power enhancements.
thanks to all for the help.

Maybe a Goerend valve body to go with it? Seriously, I would ask them if you've already committed to using their TC.

That would be best , but might be overkill for my use. (770) for valve body !. More than TC! I used to tow RVs for hire to western Canada. Then, I had a Goerend full rebuild transmission and never a problem, now, I just want to tow a 10kfiftj wheel without worrying about transmission failure.

I was told by our resident transmission expert that he likes the Fairbanks kit. It was "easy and economical". I have the Goerend Constant Pressure valve body which he said was more of a performance mod and not really needed on a daily driver. Just a bit of overkill.

He also said "If you can increase the clutch count in the forward and direct clutch pack that will help the trans a lot holding power with a shift kit" but that even without the extra plates the shift kit will "help tremendously."

He'll probably chime in here.
