5th Wheel called Everest

Floor coatings enclosed car trailer

I have two questions to ask the towing members: 1) towing a trailer in the pure stock mode w/o a exhaust brake, and only a valve body change or shift kit installed, what has been your experience on downhill runs? 2) has anyone installed the Dunrite "Trans Butty", as it sounds like a good kit with the pressures ramping up fast to hold the torque converter in better, but I question the restricted flow to the cooler in the process. Any one have one of these they like or dislike?

Thanks in advance for any info you can help me with.

Never installed one, but have taken several out. I would talk to Diesel Dynamics as they use to do these kits and now install Valve Bodies so they could probably help you.

Stefan, thanks for your input, and the more I research this stuff, the kit sounds like it is set up for problems. I know you have seem many transmissions, and if you have taken them out, it's not because they were doing a good job. The pressure build up right off of throttle seems excessive, and seems to me able to to TC damage.
