With my truck nearing the end of the extended warranty I have began to get it ready for some modifications, the first of which I should have said, "the heck with the warranty", and done a long time ago, that being installing a shift kit. Now onto the question at hand, I am planning on installing a Trans-go shift kit , but would greatly appreciate any input on if there is a secrect part number specifically for the diesels. Also, what tricks or special installation tips anyone has/has done when installing the kit. Thanks in advance. Oops, forgot to mention that I am putting a BD converter(#1030215L in and a TST #8 torque plate (keeping it mild). Thanks in advance.

Mr. Hemi:

I had a "Trans-Go" Shift Kit in my 96' almost from

the day I bought it new. I also had a TST #6 plate

in the truck and my stock transmission lasted until

98,000 miles where it began to "shudder" after

it shifted into OD when towing heavy loads.

I would highly recommend it to you, but I do

not have the part #. Call Mark Chapple @

TST Products. He should be able to help you

in getting the #.
