Has any one had problems with the 96 automatic shift linkage geting very stiff and hard to move?
At 127,000 miles my 96 2500 4x4 extended cab developed a noticable roughness in the shift linkage. I lubed the linkage at that time and this corrected the problem 2500 miles later it sudenly started again I disconected the trans link and the rest of the linkage was still tight when relubricated the prpblem went away. Any comments would be appreciated.
