shift points

I'm new to daily driving 6 speed manual. What are the best shift points. I've found starting in 2nd is best. Is staying in 4th <= 45 mph ideal?. Thanks

I try to keep the tach between 1500 and 2000 RPM when crusing at a steady speed. I shift at 2000 to 2400. When under load, 1700 to 2600+ and shift at 2600+.

Ditto on the above, although I hit 5th (direct) even at 35mph. Usually I shift at or around 1800 and keep it above 1400. I shift a lot at 3200, too
