Attention: TDR Forum Junkies When the motor is cold I generally shift about 1500 or a little higher in the rpm's. Once warmed up, I go to third at about 2500 or more, and the other gears 2000-3200. depending mood, like someone else mentioned. The 2500 minimum for third just seems to make the transmission shift easier.
Those are empty shifts, loaded shifts are all above 2500 rpm.
