Google "48re detent bullet".
Have to drop the valve body to do it.
Before you go for that make sure the latch switch on steering column is good first.
The latch switch would unlatch the shifter cable after you hit the brake pedal and let you get out of park.

With the VB on your hand after installing the detent bullet, make sure it will get out of park easily by operating the rooster comb by hand.
If not you have to smooth out the notch profile (from park to reverse) on the comb a little bit.

To expound a bit on what Pwong wrote; When you put the bullet in, look very closely at the detent plate or "rooster" for a tiny bit of metal at the edge where it slips out of park. It will resemble the edge of a wave or a tip of a saw tooth. If that is present then thats what is probably causing your problem - grind it off. It's not supposed to be there.
