My shifter is loose, and getting looser. A lot of play in it. Anyone have this problem?

Shifter on column loose or the cable on the trans? Here's a bushing kit for on the trans, https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinf...AdacGuL9KIUZbAu/kP5mhibYGzHnAR1wM+cAapOAoEw==
Mine felt loose and it was at the trans. This kit helped me. Hopefully this is what you're having trouble with.

There’s a screw at the base that comes loose. Pull the boot, remove the screw. Add loctite, reinstall. Don’t drop the screw.
