Who makes an aftermarket shifter to fit the H. O. 6 spd transmission. I would like a HURST, but can't find anything.

BD makes a 6 speed shifter. I think they are the only one out there currently.

I know that you can get a HURST stick in the Dodge. I saw a photo of someones in one of these threads, but I have no idea where.

I was thinking of shortening my shifter by 2 - 3" by cutting off the end and then turning and threading to match the original end.

We have a short throw shifter, that will cut the throw of your shifter almost in half. They are priced very reasonably with about a 1. 5hr install. Give us a call if you are interested.

Is there such a shifter for the NV4500? I have short arms and hate the LONG throws for the 5 speed.

We are testing one for the NV4500 right now. Should have one available shortly.

well hurry up already... . lol... thats good to hear. please let me know if you come up with something. You have a defenite customer for one here. Hell i want one so bad i'll test it for you. My second question is, will it be fairly easy to install? Like a normal human being with a pretty good assortment of tools be able to do this on his own, or will i have to take it somewhere?

The kit takes about 1. 5hours to install. The install is pretty easy. The average shady tree will be able to do it. Keep an eye on our website for the release.
