Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Shiftless ?

Got a new NV4500 and my old shifter won't work. New trans has a shift tower cover with 4 bolts and a 4 inch threaded (14 mm?) stub sticking out. My old shifter was held in with the inverted cup with dog ears. The shift tower on old trans. was cast into the aluminum top cover, all one piece.



Anybody know what my options are for a shifter? Where to get it?



Anybody have a Dodge service manual that shows the shift tower with 4 bolts that would be willing to copy those pages and mail to me. Would like to know how that comes apart if needed.

Sounds like you have a trans from a98 and above which does not have a speedo conn in the trans which means you will not have a speedo and some of your other funtions will not work

Probably a 98 or newer, Quad 4X4 where I bought trans. just forgot to ship new shifter with trans. They express mailed me a new shifter for it. All installed and tested . Works good.



Speedo drive is on transfer case.
