Ship date to delivery -- How Long?

Well my new truck is suppose to ship today. Found out that it is/was built in Mexico. Being that I live up here in the cold country of the North central USA. How long has it taken from "Ship Date" to showing up at the dealership when coming out of the Mexico plant?
As you can imagine, I am getting anxious as this thing was ordered 12/11/00. And it isn't as much fun to drive the detuned "99. "

Mine was built in St. Louis, so it came by truck all the way. I believe the Mexico trucks come part way by rail. I've heard stories that they can sometimes sit there awhile waiting for a place on a railcar. Hopefully yours will get on right away. You can track it once it's on the rail. Fritz's site has info on tracking. I hope we'll see it on the 24th!

I ordered mine on 10/30 and picked it up on 12/15. I think it had cleared the manufacturing process in a couple weeks and took three weeks to a month via the Mexican pipeline for delivery.

Manzano -- Yep, thats what my salesman is telling me too. Three Loooong weeks yet. Guess I will have to change my signature line to show due date around the 24th instead of 10th. #ad

Mine shipped on 1/13 from mexico, and got to the dealership near Rochester, NY on 1/29. Mine went to customs, sat there for several days, finally got moving on UP and got to Salem, IL where it was moved to CSXT, then they got it to Selkirk, NY a few days later. A couple days later it showed up on a truck.

I THEN ASKED ABOUT HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO GET HERE AND DC SAID 17 WORKING DAYS!!!!! I CAN'T WAIT ANY LONGER!! #ad

I ordered a 2001 eth dee in early october and received it in 27 days, the dealer said it was record time,then I got to looking and it was obvious that they didnt spend much time building it #ad
the paint was horrible ,the dealer gave me 3 choices.
1 take truck as is with 2,000 off.
2 have it repainted (warrenty).
3 order another one just like it,the problem with this is by the time the truck would come in the 1000 rebate or low financing would be over.
I said if that is the best you can do than give me my down money back as I am going to our other dealer and pick one up off the lot!!! it was identicle other than paint. now I am glad it turned out that way.

I Ordered mine Nov. 1 2000 and it arrived Dec. 12 2000. It was made it St. louis, MO. and shipped to Claremore OK. .
