Shock absorber sets off airbag?

When I hit a section of freeway bumps my airbag makes this noise "whenareyougoingtogetbettershocks". :{



Should I get Rancho 9000, Bilstein or what? Would removing the camper springs help?



I drive empty most of the time.

I saw an Avalanche pulling a 2 horse trailer away from the Houston Rodeo, and the horses were so embarrassed that they had masks over their faces so none of their friends could recognize them.

I just put a set of Bilsteins on last weekend.



Love the ride. The truck handles the curves better and rides SO much better.



Install was not bad. Just don't do the dumb and dumber thing I did by cutting the band that were on the rear ones. I did that to one and installed it having to push up real hard.



After I got it installed I thought boy with that band on the Shock looks to be just the right length and it was. Much easer

With the Rancho 9k's on the rear you can set them soft for mt or adj to the load. Since the front load wont change more than a couple hundred #'s you can go with any good mediun duty shock.



The camper/ overloads do not affect the mt to moderately heavy ride as they only engage the ol spring saddles when the mains compress to that point under load.



Any shock will help the ride as long is it is not an OEM. They should be replaced PRE-deliver as part of the pre-delivery service, along with the tc/ valve body, clutch, stock injectors, exhaust, air box... ... ... ...
