hi,

i am right now installing bilsteins. on the front, one of the shafts keeps turning when i am trying to tighten the locknut. the other shock installed fine. do i have a defective shock?i didn't think the shaft was supposed to turn. there is no way to put a wrench or pliers on it. i wouldn't do it anyway,i don't want to mar up the shaft.

thanks all,

mike

well, they are installed. on the top of the shocks there is a opening for a l-end wrench. on the shock in question, the hole was full of metal shavings. after cleaning i was able to hold it hold it with one hand and tighten it up. big difference in the ride. thanks to all who answered back.
