Hey folks

I have a loose shock pass side btm bolt. I can not get it to tighten up . can someone tell me the size of this bolt . I replaced shocks and oem shock was also loose at btm now my bilstein is also loose at btm. Truck is a 98

As far as BHAF have there been any recent complaints since we started using this filter about a year ago???

I also just had my DTT stuff installed and am very happy with results so far

THANKS IN ADVANCE

There is a flag nut on the back side, you might have bent the flag over and now the nut is turning. I ended up at the dealer for a rear shock bolt I lost. The bolt and nut will set you back about $5-8.

No complaints on the BHAF that I`ve heard. The only thing to watch out for is if you wash the engine and put a bag over the filter, be sure to remove it before you start the engine.

I have BHAF filters on my boat and do not like them at all. Wet dirt, water, or just plain moisture mess's them up. I have a Mega Cannon on my truck and it is great. I am looking at put a part of Mega Cannons on my boat. The BHAF's have been costing me about $70 a piece and I change them twice a summer. This web site is great I had no idea on the different air filters that are available. On my truck I tried the K&N box filter and changed it to the Mega Filter. I guess the best setup it the Scotty for Cool Air. Where I live Cool air is not a problem.

thanks for the replies. i personally dont have any problems with my BHAF but will keep an eye on it.

As far as my shock bolt, maybe a man. defective bolt because it has been doing it for a long time. I willl get a new bolt from dealer.

THANKS

The BHAF filters on my boat are mounted directly to the back of the turbo with a single clamp. Bouncing up in down in chop and heavy sea's these filters have a problem of falling off. On the marine site one of the dealers put the following suggestion in. Jack,

We have been using the K&N RE 0870 (between $50 and $70 at most speed shops) w/ good long term success on all of the B's & C's w/ 4" turbos . . Keep in mind that you'll need to use an extension (4" female x 4" male) for the filter as the heat from the turbo softens the K&N neck... ... Tony
