I have installed the Rancho 9000's about 3 weeks ago. I like them much better than the stock shocks. The ride when empty, with the shocks adjusted to position #2 is great and not as harsh as before. Position #1 while empty is too bouncy/floaty. You will have fun finding the right setting for your own taste.
