AutoTaser ($160 after rebate). It's powered by three 9-volt batteries and 8-10 hour daily usage will last about 6 weeks.

I have seen those before in a magazine, they showed how to beat it too, the thief wears line handler gloves (available from electrical supply houses or a friend who works for a utility company). Great idea though.
My friend actually took apart and mounted 2 stun guns INSIDE the driver and passenger seat with the probes against the inside of the leather seat. The drivers seat would activate when the alarm went off. For the passenger side he mounted a switch on his side so when his girlfriend was complaining about something he blasted her with it. I got hit too when i complained about his driving. Suprisingly, he does not have alot of friends anymore... Go figure.

Something's not right. 250 mw can kill. Secondly, 50,000 volts times 5,900 mw is 295,000 watts. That's enough to power about a hundred homes.

I don't know how 5900 milliwatts becomes 295,000 watts. I know of no formula that would work for that. Using the formula P=IE (Power=Current x Voltage) you can convert to I=P/E to find current. 5. 9 watts/50,000 volts= . 1 milliamps which is not enough to kill anything.

Actually, any amount of current over 10 milliamps (0. 01 amp) is capable of producing painful to severe shock. Currents between 100 and 200 mA (0. 1 to 0. 2 amp) are considered lethal. Strangely enough, currents above 200 milliamps (0. 2 amp) usually don't cause death but will produce severe burns and unconsciousness. This also assumes the current to flow through the heart.

Oops. Thanks, Ramboy, I had a brain fart on that one. Not only did I look at milliwatts and think milliamps, I TYPED milliwatts and STILL thought milliamps.

That was a bozo mistake. I will never again post that early in the morning.

When I tried to order one several months ago, the company said they were back ordered for several months due to a large international order. They would email me when available in the U. S. again. Never heard from them yet, they probably just forgot about a single order. These things are illegal in certain states, (like Hawaii), but they would ship it here anyway.
