Howdy folks... . I know the subject of shocks has been discussed here plenty of times but now I need a change so need to know. It looks like either bilsteins or rancho's are the hot ticket depending who has what. I tow a fifthwheel (29 Alpenlite)and very seldom, if at all, go off road. I don't have, or want a pallet of shingles in the bed... so what do I do for the decent ride without the 5er? Sounds like the rancho's with the adjustment for the conditions makes sense. I have no experience... . so I ask. Anyone care to elaborate?Oo.

Shocks

I like Rancho 9000's. I'm sure everyone has a difference of opinion. 4-Wheel parts are having a buy three get one free for the month of April. Just my $. 02 worth.

I like the 9000's too, if you don't like the way they ride get out and adjust them. If you buy something else you are stuck with what you have.

My suggestion is Rancho's on the rear, Bilsteins on the front. I had Ranchos all around, but the front ones died (my guess is from the weight of the front end), but the rears are still good after 70k. I just put Bilsteins on the front. Great shocks. I found I never adjusted the front Rancho's anyway.

shocks

I know this has been on before... but I misplaced the numbers.

I want to replace my shocks with Bilsteins this summer and would like the numbers for front and rear.

Thanks in advance.....
