Two trucks:

'78 Ramcharger 4x4: Off road basher, Dana 60 front, Dand 70 rear. 3" lift.

'93 SuperCrew 4xdually: Haul anything, anytime, anywhere.

What shocks do y'all recommend for those rigs with their different uses? The Ramcharger will bounce its way across the road if properly nudged by a good sized bump, and that's about as uncool as it gets. It'll be light (compared to the dually) and I need very good control. The dually will be an 8000 lb tug boat with wheelbase galore. Both trucks will have crossover steering.

So, what shocks do y'all recommend for thes two rigs??

Thanks amigos,

Excellent!! Oo. :D :-laf

I got Bilsteins for mine from AutoZone last year and and satisfied with the ride. I have bed rail tool boxes, and have had green oak wood loaded up past the rails several times. Handled it fine. Do a lot of high speed on secondary roads and don't have noticeable "hop" as I did with my worn out "whatevers. "

yup, i'd say bilstein, too. how stiff are the springs on your 3 inch lift? you might not notice a difference in shock absorbtion if your springs give you a ride like a tractor. on the other hand, if your springs articulate well then good shocks will make a great deal of difference, imho.

cheers,

roy

p. s. check my photos

I put Bilsteins on everything I own. I think I've tried every shock out there, and Bilsteins have given the best results every time. IMHO. JIm
