shocks. Bilstine VS Rancho. your opinion?

Just installed the Bilstein 5100's last weekend and my whole family took about ten seconds to notice the vast improvement in the ride over the stock shocks (32k and made in Brazil, I might add... )



Never had the Ranchos but I can certainly tell you the Bilsteins are a great improvement.

I was on the Bilstein site the other day and saw they are coming out with new shocks for the '06's.

warranties are great ,does anyone make a decent shock that doesnt need replacement after 2-3yrs or less??

I have tried both Rancho and Bilstein and would say, there is no comparison. Bilstein all the way.

Don't forget that Edlebrock makes a great shock with a lifetime warranty. The Bilstein and Edlebrock seem to perform about the same but at 35k my Bilsteins were junk and at 85k the Edlebrocks are still going strong.

I don't think they do, but then again they don't need it.



My Dad had Rancho's on his 98. 5, several sets. They always blew out and he got tired of having them replaced.
