Got mine (Bilsteins) here for less than I could find at several other places.

Ordered them online on Teusday and got them Wednesday a week later. Pretty good I thought. In fact I just installed them last night (2 hours). Ride to work was pleasant. I second the slightly harsher ride over bumps statement made earlier (at least over the stockers I removed. ) They stopped the bounce I had (around 50mph especially when coasting)and that is why I bought them. The truck rides much better overall.

Anyone else think the Bilsteins look light duty and cheesy. The stock shocks looked beefier. I bought mine based on TDR threads I had been reading. Time will tell. How does the warranty work/ Anyone tried it?

Thanks

Need your alls advise on this shock deal. Had the Bilsteins on my 2000 3500QC 4x4, I liked them and they improved the ride. I want to put them on my new ride (see sig). Here is my question? I don't tow or haul, I was thinking about just putting Bilsteins on the front of the new truck. My reasoning is that the rear shocks are heavy duty and there to work even with a big load. If I'm running with no more than a few hundred pounds then why replace the rears?? Anybody see a problem with my logic? I know I'm cheap, but if it's not broke why fix it :)
