does anyone have any good info on good replacement shocks. My truck is a 250 4x4, however I would really like to put on a good riding road shock. Not looking for any of those high dollar flashy off road units. any info would be great, thanks.

It sounds like you need some ''Monroe gas magnums''. They are great riding shocks. Had them on my truck for 4 years and they are doing great. :)

My son recently put Bilsteins on his 94 and raves about how good they are... ... even with his plow on.

So I'm going to bite the bullet and go that way next month when I put new springs up front.

My buddy put edelbrock IAS shocks on his '01 Superduty and said it made a big difference in the way it rode (for the better). My sister in law put them on her Chevy Tahoe which had bilsteins on it previously and she complained it rode too soft. I am left to assume it rides good, but not as taught as it used to.
