I have the Rancho 9000 shocks and I usually use setting three. Which setting would be the firmest for no play what so ever and which will be the softest. I have added additional springs and wanted to try a setting on the raod that will allow the most movemment of the shock. I am seeking firmer for when I pull a sled down the track I wasn't sure but I thought possible it would maybe help the truck from settling. Im guessin if that works it will only help 1/4-1/2 inch now. And for the most part my truck only drops about 1-1. 5 inches when I launch. Any comments will be appreciated.

The resistance approximately doubles with each increment. The "2" setting is close to the factory shocks that came on the truck. But I doubt that even the "5" setting will affect how the truck sits. They are just shocks, not springs. They will leak down to the level established by your springs.

i basically figured that they wont do anything but thought I would ask to be sure. didnt matter anyways i pulled in a class of 26 and beat em all. all of us mitchellized boys were up there but i pulled 283. 4 and the closet was 274. 4. BLACKDOG had a good pull also, ended up 4th. Thanks anyways for the info.
