i need to get new shocks i have about 150k on the original ones so i think it is about time. my question is which ones with out spending alot of money. which ones shouldn't i buy what ones do you guys like?

I don't like the Rancho RS5000's, they didn't hold up for me. The Bilstein OEM replacements are fine, but a bit stiff.

The Bilsteins, as y-not said, are a bit stiff, but I am very happy with them so far. My OEM shocks had more miles on them than yours do, they were SHOT! No surprise there. Put them on last fall. They're more expensive, but so far they have been worth the extra money.

I suggest the Bilsteins as well. Installed a set of them after the original ones had 110,000 miles. They made a world of difference. They are a little firmer ride, but I always like that "sports car" feel. Plus, the Bilsteins have a lifetime warranty.
