What shocks are you guys using? I had a set of pro-comps on my last Cummings and they were fine anyone using edlebrock? O ya had a set of rancho on the one before that. Any info would be great and where is the best place to buy them

My truck has the Rancho 9 position adjustables on the front end. Corrected alot of the steering sloppiness. Waiting for delivery of the DSS stabilizer.

i personally like the OEM Bilstiens. They seem to provide the needed dampining these truck need. They will ride a little rougher then the stockers.

Rancho makes a RSX that sound promising

Edelbrock has there two shocks on the market, but I know of no one that was run them.

Also the Ranch RSX and 9000X shocks are on sale with a buy 3 get 4 deal

Any dealer that sells the Rancho line of truck aftermarket parts will honor the deal. It is a Rancho factory authorized sale.

Look in any 4x4 mag and pick a supplier.

911Ram,

Do you have a 4X4? If so and you use it. look into T-REX there awsome !!! I have a set and for off roading there the best that money can buy for our trucks!!!!!

Edelbrock makes great intake manifolds

I avoid bashing products

I have had 3 sets of Edelbrocks.

They are awsome for the first 30k miles.

The ride is remarkable:D

After 30k miles of So. Cal. and Baja.

They just don't work as well as when they are new.

Each time the shocks needed to be replaced Edelbrock stood behind the lifetime warranty.

However it only covers the shocks and they are a pain to remove.

I spend alot of time driving in Baja and wanted a more appropriate shock.

I now have Bilstein Racing Shocks 7100 series with reservoirs.

Up front I use the "Lifted "5100 shock in the stock location with a "Tuner" 7100 shock mounted to DT shock mounts.

Out back use 1-- 7100 shock per wheel.

Are they better than the Edelbrock?

Well the Edelbrocks have a great ride when new.

The Bilsteins are Stiff on the road for sure. .

Off road there's no comparision.....

shocks

I have been running Rancho adjustables for a couple years. I liked them when I first put them on but one of the shocks will no longer adjust. It is stuck in the #2 position. I think they are junk and I would never buy them again. I would advise against them. I have heard alot of good things about bilsteins.

Thank you for all the info. I think I will try the bilsteins never really heard of them, sounds like a off brand, but I will try them thanks again for the info

Bilstiens "off brand"?

Off Road brand. yes!

They are famous in the world of off road racing.

They are also very popular in the road racing circut.

Key word here RACING>

These are great Shocks... ...

Edelbrocks

I've run the Edelbrocks for about 145K now. Last oil change I noticed the RR shock leaking fluid. Edelbrock will replace the leaker for free and will sell me the LR at "employee cost" so I can replace the pair. Need to send them original sales receipt; guess what the ONE receipt I can't find is? #@$%!
